ABOUT ME

Lana Avis is the founder of Urban Play. 

Lana is a professional street, hip-hop, break-dancer and choreographer with over 20 years experience. In that time she has enjoyed working on a diverse array of projects, ranging from global corporations, music videos, West End and fringe theatres, music artists, theatrical productions and corporate clients.

Lana’s performance work has taken her all over the world and her credits include:

Lana’s professionalism and unique style of choreography have enabled her to work with some very high-profile clients, including Calvin Klein, Guitar Hero III, Pizza Hut and Sony.

As well as creating and performing choreography, Lana has an extensive teaching history. Her choreography is taught to young people in schools, dance schools and youth projects throughout the UK and internationally. Lana also has a wealth of experience teaching adults and professional dancers. Credits include: Move It (dance exhibition), B-Supreme, Sainsbury’s Active Kids, Star For A Night, Princess and various Borough Councils.
